They kept checking up on everyone and at one point handed out free water when they saw everyone losing energy between sets. Aaron J. Came here to watch a marlies game. The arena is small enough so you can really have a decent view no matter where you sit. I got some tickets for myself and a friend for free a while back and decided to go. The arena is average sized and tickets are extremely less than leafs tickets.
Jeff M. Been to Ricoh a fair share of times to attend Marlies games. Arena is well suited for AHL games, not overly big and at the same time not too small.
Clean, comfortable seating and decent food options available. Theres plenty of parking here with the option of underground or outside parking. Ian P. The food and drink selection here is pretty bad. Washrooms are busy but manageable, and the place is rather clean.
Derek L. Actually, this was the closest listing to the Food Building at the EX. The variety of foods in the Food Building is expansive. I also had bubble tea from every booth in the place — they were ALL really good. As a sports venue — this IS the place! You can sit any where in the stadium and not feel distant from the events happening on the ice ie scores, fights, etc.
My boyfriend and I were fortunate to receive free tickets for the Marlies game but we have also paid to see them too and we had such a wonderful time! We managed to score the last tickets and were in the standing area.
Standing area— what? I do agree that the food selection is mediocre but I do not expect to come to Ricoh for something exciting to eat. It is relatively pricey and most kiosks accept cash only. There is something about the atmosphere and the unity of hockey fans Go Marlies! Food corner were Ok, Memorial gift shop was small space. Inside was cold because of huge and still it was cold. Wash room were keeping clean because I often saw cleaner women.
Security guard staffs worked well. I really had fun in the their World Tour. Kimberley N. The staff at Ricoh work fast and directs everyone to the appropriate entrance and getting through security was fast and efficient. The sound system was good because my ears have been ringing ever since. The lighting and projector were clear and bright when the entertainers had their music videos playing on the screen. The seats are pretty good so everyone has a good view of the stage.
