As crews work to set up the course, there will be multiple road closures downtown throughout the weekend and race day. Looking to use public transit instead of a personal vehicle. There are transit options for navigating both downtown Detroit and Windsor. For those exploring the downtown Detroit area, the Detroit People Mover will be in full operation on Friday to Sunday evening — with extended hours beginning on Sunday at 5 a.
The Michigan Avenue station will close from 7 a. The streetcar stops at 12 stations. Sunday hours are 8 a. The Detroit-Windsor Tunnel Bus service will be available on Sunday, but riders are required to have necessary travel documentation with them.
It will depart from the Windsor Bus Terminal at a. Return trips to Windsor from Cobo are scheduled for 11 a. Once the race is run and done, an official Conquered Afterparty is scheduled for Sunday from 8 a. Beer will be available and all proceeds will be donated to charity.
