The menu is the exact same for the series X and the series S, so you will not need to worry about this being different if you are on a different console. In fact, at the time of writing this, you can also use this guide to configure it on the Xbox One. The first thing you need to do is to navigate to the network settings on the Xbox. If port on your end has not been forwarded, not in upnp or DMZ then your likerly going to get a moderate or strict nat type.

The reason why some of us narrow down ports in tp, is because we only want the actual game to have priority and not the other non essential game ports.
